International Tour-Specific Conditions

These conditions pertain to any international tours facilitated by Almora Unlimited.

Travel Arrangements

Please note there is a 100% no refund policy on all deposits for all tours unless otherwise stated.​

Refunds will vary on destination and overseas policies; this will be advised on your booking form for each tour.

​These will also be outlined in detail on the event tour page prior to your confirmation.

A letter with all these terms and conditions will be given to you to sign, prior to confirming your reservation.

Along with a full terms and conditions agreement for you to sign.

We are not responsible for your Visa, passport, or overseas travel arrangements; so please ensure that your travel documents, insurance, and arrangements are in good order. Some countries you may travel to require vaccinations and visas. Please make sure that you have researched this information in plenty of time.

In order to enter a foreign country, you will need to hold a valid passport, which might need to have at least (6) months of validity beyond the trip and a return ticket. Please contact the relevant authorities if in doubt.

We recommend that you arrive at least two days prior to the tour’s departure, and arrive at the pickup location at least one hour in advance.

Also, be aware that traffic and transport delays are common in many destinations.

Some of the day’s activities may be changed around to accommodate important events or delays by other providers.

We ask that you be flexible and open to changes that may arise on our pilgrimage. Being in the moment is part of the adventure!

The tour EXCLUDES your International Airfare to/from your chosen destination, compulsory travel insurance, meals, beverages, and your Visa (if required).

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is a non-negotiable condition for joining us on any tours.


We cannot confirm your space if you do not have travel insurance.


All participants must have a full Travel Insurance policy in place by the time the full payment is made to cover loss/delays/illness/cancellations prior to or during this trip. Please ensure it covers emergency evacuation and full cancellation for unforeseen circumstances.​

We won’t be responsible and will be excluded from liability for any loss, damage, omission, or acts being negligent or otherwise, committed by the operators of airlines, rail travel, accommodation suppliers, or attractions used in connection with this tour. We aren’t responsible for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule, or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, civil disturbance, acts of God, acts of Government, or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action.

In addition, we will not be responsible for any losses arising, directly or indirectly, from; the refusal, failure or inability of any company or organization, including but not limited to any airline, other transportation provider, hotel, car rental agency, booking agent or other provider of travel or tourism related services, by reason of their own Financial Default or the Financial Default of any person, company or organization with whom or with which they deal.

If the event is altered, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, or rendered inadvisable, impracticable, or impossible due to a fortuitous event or unforeseen occurrence we shall not be liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising from a failure to perform any term of this contract.

As a part of the booking form, we will require the name of the company as well as your policy number. Do ensure that your policy fully covers delays, cancellations of flights, and accommodations as this tour is not refundable. It is advisable that extra insurance be taken out to cover computer and camera equipment.

Emergency Contact

It is unlikely; however, we will require the details of a designated emergency contact person in case it is required. These details will remain confidential, please advise them that they are your designated emergency contact person.​


Considerable care has been taken to compile the information on our website and brochures but circumstances may necessitate changes in itineraries and costs in which case you will be informed as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any changes which may occur and reserve the right to increase the price of any travel arrangement up to the date of departure. This includes adjustment for devaluation fuel surcharges airfare increases as well as international exchange rate fluctuations.​

Full payment of the event fees is a condition of joining this tour. Please note there is a 100% no refund policy on all payments and deposits for this tour. Payment of your deposit is an acceptance of our terms & conditions. No partial refunds or exchanges may be given for unused portions of the accommodation or transport fees.

Photos, Maps & Hotel Descriptions

Hotel descriptions featured on our website & brochures are based on current hotel guides and contractual agreements provided by suppliers. Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routes, locations or services. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room occupied.​

Medication & Health Matters

​The tour participant acknowledges being aware of the proposed itinerary and it is the participant's obligation to ensure that he/she is medically fit and able to embark upon such a tour.

Please ensure that you have a full supply of any medications required during this trip. You are responsible for all charges that result from visiting a medical facility, or for a medical practitioner visiting you. We are not responsible for the type or quality of the medical services you may receive.

We will ask you for any medication that you may require, this information will only be used if medically required and will be held in the strictest confidence. You are also responsible for any vaccinations that are required.


No responsibility is accepted for the loss of or damage to baggage or any of the tour participant’s belongings throughout the duration of the tour. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant.


​For the benefit of all tour participants, we reserve the right to accept or reject any participant and to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants.

Almora will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred if it has to terminate a participant’s attendance on this tour for these reasons.

Cancellation policy for tours and retreats

Due to the unprecedented circumstances in the world at present, and with regard to our international tours.
Any tours that are cancelled due to Covid 19, will be refunded less any fees incurred by Almora Beyond The Horizon, either directly or indirectly related to this tour.

This includes providers and suppliers, and all promotional materials relating to / and events, relating to these tours.
